Talent Rock events feature up-and-coming as well as established artists during the opening night show. Previous acts have included Jordan Knight, Aaron Carter, Brooke Hogan and C-Note to name a few. Celebrity appearances are part of the fun too, such as N'Sync's Joey Fatone, 98 Degrees' Jeff Timmons, Efren Ramirez best-known for Napoleon Dynamite, Ellen Cleghorne from SNL and Michael Copon from One Tree Hill, MTV's TRL Host Damien Fahey and celebrity choreographers Cris Judd, Eddie Garcia and Glenn Douglas Packard.

Workshops
Talent Rock workshops provide the opportunity for you to gain important knowledge necessary to succeed in the entertainment industry from seasoned industry professionals. Workshops are held on the first and second day of the event.

First Impressions: Styling for Success
Learn how to dress appropriately for your competitions, photo shoots, and for auditions and go-sees from a top stylist.
Breaking the Ice: Networking in the Industry
Learn how to network with industry professionals and get the help you need to succeed in the industry.
Walk the Runway like a Top Model
Learn to walk the runway just like all the top fashion models. This workshop is a "hands-on" high fashion runway instructional, where models learn to strut their stuff on the catwalk.
A Look at the Modeling Industry Around the World
This workshop explores the different facets of the modeling industry around the world and what it takes to be a top model. Find out what agencies in markets around the world are looking for when selecting their new talent.
Acting 101: Basic Technique and Cold Reading
This workshop provides hands on acting demonstrations and techniques, as well as giving insight into the different tools actors need to be in top performing condition. Talent will be selected during each session to take part in the demonstrations throughout the workshop.
Kids Acting Class
This is a fun interactive acting class intended for children under the age of 16. Offers hands on exercises to pump up your kids acting skills.
Behind the Music: Understanding Record Labels
Learn how a record label works and what role the record label plays in your career. This is your opportunity to get a behind the scenes look at one of the top labels in the industry.
Digital Music Revolution: Demo, Distribution, Discovery
How can I make my mark on the Industry? How can I get my music out there? This workshop answers these questions as well as gives you valuable information about trends in the market and putting together your demo. Today there are ways to get your music out there before you even have a record deal.
Song Writing
Learn how to structure songs and write lyrics. Learn about telling a story through your music and how to draw the listener into your music. Get direction to improve your song writing abilities and make yourself a better performer.
Commercial Dance Instruction
Come prepared to sweat, as an Emmy award nominated choreographer teaches you an up tempo hip-hop/pop routine.
Dance to Live, Live to Dance
Dancing is your passion, but how do you build a career doing what you love? This workshop will give you information on how to create a successful career in dance.
Comedic Improv and Sketch Comedy
Learn the basics about comedic timing and improvisation from one of the top acting coaches in the business. This hands-on class will get you up out of your seat and put your comedic skills to work.
Stand-up Comedy Basics with SNL star Ellen Cleghorne
Learn the basics about stand-up comedy from one of SNL's former cast members.
Competition
Aspiring actors, comedians, dancers, models and vocalists can compete in two of the five categories that will take place on the second day of the event. The industry professionals will select the more than 100 finalists who are announced at the Finals competition on the third day. Those finalists then compete and the winners will receive a share of more than $100,000 worth of sponsored prizes.
All Talent Review
The All Talent Review is open to all Talent Rock participants and is taped for television. This event creates an important opportunity for all competing actors, vocalists, models, dancers and comedians to walk the runway and be seen by all scheduled industry professionals prior to callbacks. The industry professionals attending the All Talent Review will sit alongside the stage.
Callbacks
Callbacks give the more than 100 scheduled agents, casting directors, producers, A&R reps, managers, choreographers and other industry professionals the opportunity to meet with you one-on-one after scouting you throughout the event to discuss possible representation and/or future opportunities. Talent Rock Events have more than a 70 percent callback rate. Callbacks take place immediately following the Finals Competition and Awards Presentation.
Open Call
Following callbacks, ALL participants will be able to drop off marketing materials in labeled industry professional's boxes during the open call session. Talent Rock will ship all materials collected directly to the industry professionals in the weeks following the event.
