From the event, Megan made a contact with Smash Music, a firm dedicated to artist development and production, concert and touring production, and soundtrack and music placement within the film industry. Megan had placed her band's demo in the open call box for Smash Music and was called after the event by the owner to begin a working relationship. Megan's band Murky Dismal will be showcased in the independent feature film called MINI'S FIRST TIME starring Alec Baldwin, Jeff Goldblum, Luke Wilson and Nikki Reed, with the song entitled "Wake".
